Lewis Hamilton has finally joined Scuderia Ferrari. The seven-time world champion will race for the Prancing Horse in F1 this year. Ahead of the pre-season, the British driver made his debut at the iconic Fiorano circuit.
Hamilton had already spent a day at Maranello with his new team to prepare for the upcoming season. It was reported that the 40-year-old will have an elastic testing program. The Scuderia prepared its 2023 chassis, the SF-23 in its latest colors and sponsor scheme for the British star.
Clips emerged on social media showing the seven-time world champion drive around the circuit in the SF-23. Lewis Hamilton was spotted wearing a brand new yellow crash helmet to mark the occasion. He seemed to be at home in the new colors while driving a Ferrari powered car for the first time in his long and successful career.

Lewis Hamilton ‘not afraid’ of change
Ferrari orchestrated a grand welcome for Lewis Hamilton. CEO Benedetto Vigna asserted that the British driver was unafraid of his new challenge and had a great desire for change. Vigna applauded Hamilton for embracing an entirely different culture at the Scuderia compared to Mercedes at the age of 40.
The seven-time world champion still has the hunger to win in Formula 1. Clips from his arrival at Ferrari show that Hamilton is determined to make this move a success. However, a lot will depend on the chassis provided by the Scuderia at the start of the season. Moreover, Lewis Hamilton might need some time to get accustomed to the culture at the Italian team.
