Lewis Hamilton is a man of many interests apart from his performances in Formula 1. While not racing, Hamilton is often witnessed dabbling in fashion, music creation, or even watching other sports. One such standout sport for the 40-year-old is Tennis, as his love for the sport isn’t unknown. The seven-time F1 champion also passionately follows the sport as he reveals his top pick for the 2025 Wimbledon champion.
Lewis Hamilton‘s love for Tennis isn’t unknown as he is a great fan and friend of the Tennis legend Serena Williams. The F1 legend shares a deep bond with Williams, apart from their sporting achievements, and is often spotted donning his full-fledged support for the Tennis champion. As such, the 40-year-old evidently loves Tennis beyond the great friendship shared with the seven-time Wimbledon champion.
In a recent interview with Ferrari, Lewis Hamilton was questioned about his thoughts on the player he supported to win the Wimbledon title. Hamilton’s answer caught everyone off guard as he revealed that his support was with a specific Women’s player and not the typical Men’s league. The 40-year-old is already a great voice for equality and inclusivity in his own sport. As such, it isn’t surprising to see that he is supporting women in Tennis as well.
Hamilton asserted that he would be watching the Women’s Singles at Wimbledon 2025. The F1’s only black driver further noted that his support would be towards Coco Gauff, as he hoped for the latter to emerge victorious and lift the title. Gauff has risen among the favorites to win the title this year, thanks to her commanding run at the French Open and consistent top-tier performances across the season.
I’ll be watching Women’s and I hope Coco Gauff.

Lewis Hamilton applauds Ferrari’s ‘mega progress’ over race weekends
Ferrari’s start to the 2025 season, especially in Lewis Hamilton’s debut year, had remained insignificant. Slowly but surely, the Italian outfit has seemed to regain its lost pace and has achieved some great improvements. Charles Leclerc and Hamilton finished in P3 and P4 at the recent Austrian GP as the latter applauded Maranello’s recent resurrection of pace.

Lewis Hamilton insisted that Ferrari made ‘mega progress’ over the 11 rounds of the 2025 season. As such, the 40-year-old thanked the hard work of the people back at the factory in Maranello. Moreover, the seven-time champion emphasized that the Scuderia’s pace wasn’t over a minute off the leading McLarens in the season. Hence, this could be a great stepping stone for the team as they would continue to build on from here.
Mega progress for us as a team, so we have to say a huge thank you again to the guys at the factory for bringing the upgrade this weekend, For us to be the second fastest team this weekend, we’re not a minute down from McLaren, which is positive.
Lewis Hamilton told Sky Sports F1
The 2025 season has been a massive challenge for Lewis Hamilton in multiple aspects. However, Hamilton has refused to back down in the face of adversity and is positive of regaining the lost pace. The 40-year-old is ready to rebuild himself from the ground up and help return Ferrari to its lost glory. Apart from F1, the Briton will also closely watch Coco Gauff as she navigates against her opponents and fights for the title.
