Sergio Perez failed to make it out of Q1 on Saturday. The Mexican driver needed to have a good race to secure his future at Milton Keynes. However, Perez failed to keep control of the RB20 as he crossed Turn 1 at the race start. The Red Bull driver made contact with the wall as the car turned to the side.
Subsequently, the Haas drivers Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg became victims of Perez’s incident. Magnussen collided with Checo as a red flag was called. After the incident, Sergio Perez’s car just had a single tire left with massive damage throughout the car.
