RB star Yuki Tsunoda is well-known in the F1 paddock for being the driver with the funny bones. He is every now and then seen doing hilarious things and it was no different in Zandvoort as he tried to overtake Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc in the paddock.

Ahead of the main Dutch Grand Prix, Charles Leclerc was on his bike and had Yuki Tsunoda right behind him. While the Monegasque was on his merry way to wherever he was headed, Tsunoda had started with his hilarious antics.

The 24-year-old has been driving in F1 since 2021. During the ongoing campaign, he has really managed to come into the limelight with his performances. While Tsunoda is shining on the racing track, his off-track antics are still up and kicking with the Leclerc incident being the latest installment to it.

Yuki Tsunoda dejected with being ‘stuck in traffic’ during Dutch GP

While Tsunoda created a hilarious moment before the Dutch GP, the 72-lap race did not pan out the way he had expected. Despite starting the race in P11, he was only able to muster up a disappointing seventeenth-place finish.

After the event, Tsunoda felt the two-stop strategy was the wrong call by RB.

We split the strategy across the garage, but this time it didn’t work, especially on my side. We knew that it was going to be 50:50 with 2 stops, but the lap we pitted was too late and the timing was wrong. Using the soft tyre and losing a position at the start was unideal for sure, and then I was just stuck in traffic and always behind dirty air. I finished the race way behind where I started, which was pretty frustrating.

Yuki Tsunoda has been the standout performer for RB this season. He has had the upper hand over Daniel Ricciardo and is in a strong position to secure the coveted 2025 Red Bull seat. However, the Japanese will be required to perform consistently in the remaining races to further solidify his case for the seat.
