Daniel Ricciardo was sacked by RB (VCARB) after the Singapore GP in a shocking turn of events. This separated Ricciardo from his Japanese teammate, Yuki Tsunoda, who he had a good relationship with.
Subsequently, Tsunoda revealed how he had an emotional chat with Daniel Ricciardo in the RB motorhome, owing to the pair knowing that it was their last race together. At the beginning of the year, Ricciardo had set out a plan to get his way back into Milton Keynes by impressing the Red Bull hierarchy.
A few months later, the Aussie was sacked to bring in a young influx of talent at the RB outfit. This left the 34-year-old with an unofficial farewell from the F1 paddock after the race in Singapore.
On the other hand, knowing that the pair had raced together as teammates for the last time together in F1, Yuki Tsunoda had an eye-to-eye chat with the veteran driver and revealed how both of them were emotional as they knew that they would not partner each other at the next race.
While Ricciardo lost his seat, Tsunoda has remained with the Faenza-based outfit. Moreover, he is anticipated to stay there as he is not considered for promotion to Red Bull, owing to his nature on the radio. Thus, unintentionally, forcing the 24-year-old to get his temper sorted, despite racing at speeds of above 300kph.

On the other hand, Yuki Tsunoda and Daniel Ricciardo were a force to be reckoned with last year when both drivers were performing. This inturn led to both of them forming a good friendship with each other.
However, F1 does not spare anyone for not performing like an elite, and this time Horner & Co. did not show any mercy on the 34-year-old, who was a previous race winner for them. The RB driver explained how the pair had a friendly rivalry and had been great friends of each other.
While one driver bids adieu to the F1 circus, another joins it in the form of Liam Lawson. The Kiwi driver would be in action around the COTA circuit in Austin this weekend, and all eyes would be on him to see how he fares.
