The Elimination Chamber PLE ended with one of the most shocking heel turns of all time. John Cena joined forces with The Rock to brutalize Cody Rhodes. This show also featured an appearance from Travis Scott, who actually played a prominent role during the ending segment. He was also a part of the beatdown on the WWE Undisputed Champion.

Fan-captured footage going viral on social media has revealed a different angle of this entire beatdown. The video shows John Cena restraining Cody Rhodes by his legs while Scott walks up near his head. Scott then bent over, grabbed the American Nightmare by his neck, and seemingly swung at him with full force. Furthermore, it is unlikely that the American rapper knows how to hold back his punches like the rest of the roster does.

Toward the end of the show, the Final Boss made his entrance to a rendition of his theme song remixed with Travis Scott‘s famous song, Fein. The 33-year-old musician was also seen accompanying The People’s Champion through the arena and stood with him in the ring for the entire segment.

The segment was processed with Cena turning heel on Rhodes, choking him out with a tie, and even using his own belt against him as a weapon. Scott himself joined in on the beatdown and restrained The American Nightmare while The Brahma Bull whipped him with a weight belt. He was also seen standing alongside the two Hollywood superstars during the closing shots of the show.

The Rock reveals Travis Scott wanted to get in the ring and get his hands bloody

Even after this notable appearance, Travis Scott is not done with WWE. During the Elimination Chamber post-show press conference, The Rock showered plenty of praise on the American rapper. He said that the hip-hop artist loved the professional wrestling business. In fact, the 33-year-old himself wanted to step in the ring and “get his hands bloody,” which the promotion and Final Boss obliged.

Scott has now had quite a long relationship with WWE. His song, ‘Fein’, was heavily used in promotional videos for WrestleMania 41, especially when the show’s location was announced. Furthermore, ever since Raw moved to Netflix, his song ‘4×4’ has also been used as the red brand’s theme song.

He wanted to get, to steal a term, he wanted to get his hands bloody. I whispered to him as we were going out, ‘if you get your hands bloody, make it count. Make it count.’ He slapped the sh*t out of Cody. He was really hyped up.
