The professional wrestling community has grown tremendously in the past few years due to the recent wrestling boom. This larger community has given birth to many fan meetups and other community-organized events. However, it was still quite surprising to see a fan-organized Rhea Ripley-lookalike competition.

The Eradicator posted a photo on X, which featured a flyer poster advertising a Rhea Ripley lookalike contest. The competition is set to take place in Indianapolis on the afternoon of the Royal Rumble and features a prize pool worth $300 in Hot Topic gift cards, WWE merchandise, and other items.

Ripley has also talked extensively about her incredible transformation. Her long-time fans would definitely remember the Australian’s long hair and blonde look. She eventually started cutting her hair short and shifted toward wearing black ring gear with goth makeup, especially when she became a part of The Judgment Day. She has also stated that she much prefers the current version of herself.

It appears that Ripley will have a pretty chill day on February 1st. She is not scheduled for any match on the PLE and likely won’t be entering the Women’s Rumble match as she is already a champion. Furthermore, she is not afraid of any challengers who may come her way after the Rumble, as she has stated in the past week. However, it is worth noting that she teased entering the Men’s Rumble match instead.

Wrestling fans react to Rhea Ripley lookalike competition on the afternoon of the Royal Rumble

It appears that the WWE Universe was just as surprised to see this competition as Rhea Ripley was. Many members of the Internet Wrestling Community stated their intention to be there, dressed up in their goth makeup and black clothes.

The tweet even received a reply from Ripley’s alleged ex, Cathy Kelley. She said that she would hold this sign in front of her house every time the Australian got a new girlfriend. Other netizens joked that the contest would definitely be won by Chris Motionless, the lead singer of Motionless in White. This band also accompanied the 28-year-old during her entrance at WrestleMania XL.

Other netizens joked that the Women’s World Champion should show up to the event. Perhaps she shouldn’t even tell others present there that she is the real deal. The 28-year-old should just pretend to be a lookalike and would likely win first place.
