Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown also joined the lot with his peculiar choice of outfit as he entered the All-Star game on Sunday. The fans couldn’t help but allude him to the fictional world of Denis Villeneuve‘s Dune.

Jaylen Brown surprised the media and audience as he walked the All-Star tunnel donning vastly distinctive outfit. In a military-inspired awareness, Brown wore dusty olive green baggy bottoms with a similar hooded jacket on top over a plain t-shirt and vest. To top it off, the Celtics star wore red-tinted glasses and carried a hard shell suitcase to carry his sneakers. The outfit and the color scheme bore a striking resemblance to the costumes in the movie Dune.

The sci-fi elements in Jaylen Brown’s outfit were not the first amalgamation for the fans to have seen. The basketball athlete chose the grand stage to showcase his recently launched clothing line, 741 Performance.

The sneaker and apparel line introduced its first non-neutral in this new colorway. With the brand, Brown’s aim was to disrupt the conventional standard of basketball shoes. He also took to his Instagram stories to show off a new pair of 741 shoes.

Jaylen Brown expanded his brand with clothing only a few months after its inauguration. Speaking to the media in November, the Berkley alumni expressed his vision for his new creation. Brown shared his interest in science fiction as a genre and futuristic fashion. He also turned down various endorsements from established sneaker brands worth $50 million to start his own.
