Bam Adebayo and Jayson Tatum were involved in a somewhat confusing incident last night during Game 4 of their playoff series in the fourth quarter. An incident that has caused a storm on social media.

It all started when Miami Heat guard Patty Mills was called for a foul after he mistakenly tripped Boston Celtics’ guard, Derrick White. The whistle had gone off, and at that point, Jayson Tatum tried his luck with a three-point shot. Bam Adebayo then responded by contesting the shot, which led to Tatum rolling his ankle, where he was seen holding the ankle while appearing in pain.

The incident was reviewed and called a Flagrant 1 by the referees at the Miami Heat Center. The resulting melee saw Celtics own center Al Horford being issued a technical foul for his role in the melee where he shoved Adebayo. Tatum got up and converted his two free throws as part of the TK.

The scene was a cause of concern for the C’s, who had already seen Kristaps Porzingis leave in the first half with a suspected leg injury. However, Tatum appeared to be okay, and that must have been a sigh of relief for the Boston Celtics and their fans.

Social media was stunned when Miami Heat Bam Adebayo, who had promised not to take it easy on the C’s, committed a foul on rival Jayson Tatum during their playoff series game. The foul could have been avoided and resulted in a melee and a player being technical.

Furthermore, fans took to the popular social media platform X, to express their discontent about the issue, with one fan tagging Adebayo as the dirtiest player in the league.

The Boston Celtics won the game at the end with a scoreline of 102-88, leading the series 3-1. Derrick White was the best player in the arena as he led the line elegantly with 38 points, four rebounds, and three assists. Furthermore, Adebayo ended the game with 25 points, 17 rebounds, and five assists, and Tatum had 20 points, 11 rebounds, and five assists.
