Will the move to Al-Ahli return his form or not, that remains to be seen. However, the Saudi Arabia club will be hoping against hope that they find a new marksman in the former Brentford striker. This is because they squandered too many chances in the last few games.

Al-Ahli has had a questionable start to the season with a defeat against Al-Hilal that knocked them out of the Saudi Super Cup. Despite a 2-0 win against Al-Orobah, they crashed once again against Al-Fateh by a solitary goal. Their next challenge is against a formidable Al-Nassr who have Cristiano Ronaldo as their talisman.
