In an unfortunate development, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola decided to part ways with his wife, Cristina Serra, after 30 years of being together. The decision was taken in December, even though the two decided to maintain a cordial relationship with each other. The family was seen spending Christmas together with their three children.
As reported by El Periodico, Pep Guardiola and Cristina Serra decided to go their separate ways in December. Back in 2019, reports surfaced that Serra had left Manchester with one of the couple’s kids to return to Barcelona in order to look after her fashion business. Following this move, she continued to split her time between Barcelona and Manchester and maintain a decent relation with Guardiola.
Guardiola and Serra met in 1994 when the former was 23 while his partner was 20. They were together for 20 years before finally tying the knot in 2014. Their three children, Maria, Marius, and Valentina are aged 24, 22, and 17, respectively. Amidst the personal turmoil, Guardiola will now be focusing on the on-pitch matters, hoping to resuscitate Manchester City from a middling run.

Kinda makes sense why Pep was losing his shit over in the interviews, the nail scratches on the head, and everything. Stuff wasn't going well at work and home. Hope he recovers soon and starts winning in life and on pitch.

However, their latest draw left Manchester City reeling in the sixth position, 12 points adrift of the league leaders, Liverpool. Much to their woes, the Reds still have a game in hand, which might see them go 15 points clear at the top if they are able to register a win against Brentford.
