However, along with the positive praise, he also faces criticism. This time, it’s the reigning multi-divisional female world champion Claressa Shields who has bizarrely trolled Paul.

Interestingly, the self-proclaimed ‘GWOAT’ has a history of challenging male boxers. Over the years, boxing has seen Claressa Shields call out several top fighters. Recently, in a brief interview with TMZ Sports, Shields was asked if she could defeat rising boxing star, Jake Paul. In response, the GWOAT, known for her outspoken nature, confidently asserted her belief in her ability to win a potential fight against Paul.

I don’t think Jake Paul has the skills to get inside the ring with me or any of the guys that are at 154 pounds or up who is ranked in the rankings. I’m not gonna lie to you. 1 to 10, I don’t think he could pick a guy 1 to 10 in any of the rankings, any of the weight classes and beat them.

Even though Shields hadn’t had a great past while sparring against male boxers, she believes Paul wouldn’t pose a challenge. Moreover, the multi-divisional champion also laid several other intriguing points. According to Shields, any top-ranked boxer can easily humiliate a boxer like Paul.
