Drew McIntyre suffered the same fate as his adversary, CM Punk, as he got injured at WrestleMania XL. According to the reports, he suffered a badly hyperextended elbow and appeared to have even wrestled while being injured.
In the ongoing UK house show, Drew McIntyre disclosed his injury while taking another shot at The Best in the World. He stated that, unlike CM Punk, he was wrestling even though he was injured. McIntyre wrestled Jey Uso in a singles match but ended up losing.

The Scottish Warrior wrestled against Seth Rollins on Night 2 of WrestleMania XL and defeated him. However, after becoming champion, he mocked the injured Punk, who was commentating on their match. That was a bad idea, as Damian Priest cashed in his MITB contract and became the new World Heavyweight Champion thanks to Punk’s distraction.
Recently, he lost a chance to fight Priest for the title, as The Second City Saint once again cost him the match. It will be interesting to see his reaction after being robbed of another opportunity to win the title.

The wrestling fans had their say when the news of Drew McIntyre’s injury surfaced online. Some fans wished for him to get well soon, and others trolled him for making fun of other superstars’ injuries.
