“Something Tony Khan couldn’t do”-Wrestling fans react to Triple H detailing process behind settling creative differences with CM Punk
The Chief Content Officer of WWE reveals what he has done to resolve a couple of creative differences he's had with CM Punk of late.

Triple H and CM Punk [via- Wrestling Headlines]
From on-screen feud to harboring real-life disdain for each other and finally burying the hatchet after years of disconnect, that’s one way to describe Triple H and CM Punk. Since returning to WWE in November 2023, The Best in the World has often expressed his gratitude toward Hunter for welcoming him back to the company.
However, that doesn’t mean they don’t disagree at times. In fact, The Game recently dove into his approach to resolving disagreements, often related to the creative process, involving Punk. Speaking on the High Performance podcast, the WWE CCO disclosed that there have been a couple of instances like that.
Paul Levesque recalled his creative team relaying to him that Punk disliked something they came up with. The Cerebral Assassin told them that he’d go talk with the Chicagoan personally. When Paul approached him, Punk acted like he was fine with it, but Hunter asked him to be honest, as he was aware that Punk wasn’t over the moon with what he was presented.

They eventually talked and segued into a fruitful conversation. Levesque added that getting to collaborate with The Second City Saint is one of his favorite things in TV. Because at the end of the day, they share a very similar view for the business, Hunter noted.
After coming back, the former AEW star asserted that Vince McMahon‘s departure opened that door for him. If McMahon was still in charge of the day-to-day operations in WWE, who knows if Punk would’ve even contemplated taking the route he did after getting fired by All Elite Wrestling?
Fans in ecstasy after receiving continuous signs of Triple H and CM Punk on good terms
As expected, the netizens did take notice of how Triple H and CM Punk get along behind the scenes. The following reactions evince the wholesome relationship between two former rivals. A user on X subtly lauded The Game for at least being open and not reluctant to take inputs from the pool of talent he has.

One fan joked about Punk’s creative disagreement being vibing to Jey Uso‘s entrance with his sunglasses on. AEW CEO Tony Khan also caught some strays when a user wrote that he could never do anything like The King of Kings. Some fans still, to this day, troll the Jacksonville Jaguars executive for maintaining unprofessional conduct with an asset like Punk while he had him.
At least Hunter is open to listening to Punk and taking inputs for creative. That's what I like about him.

This is just a great sign and a respect thing and say if Shawn ever retired I think he would be really good for NXT and he has a great relationship with Bret Hart and I feel Bret coming in as like a dusty type teaching the next generation like wrestling techniques wld be awesome.

He recognizes how in touch with what people like CM Punk is, and how the audience responds to him, and he appreciates it. Love it.

I always said this even back then, Punk and HHH share the same mentality but they just go about different ways and thats why they didnt mesh well

Some in the comments also advocated for The Best in the World running NXT down the road if Shawn Michaels retires from that role. A fan pointed out that Punk has a great relationship with Bret Hart and could sway The Hitman to work alongside him in some capacity. Who better than The Excellence of Execution to pass on his wisdom to the next generation of wrestlers?
Triple H to be inducted into 2025 WWE Hall of Fame this weekend
This Friday night after SmackDown, WWE will induct its 2025 class into the Hall of Fame. Leading the pack is none other than Paul “Triple H” Levesque. It’s now known that his longtime friend Shawn Michaels will induct the 14-time World Champion into the HOF.

It was rumored for a while that Levesque’s wife, Stephanie McMahon, might receive that privilege. She was awestruck to learn that her husband was getting the honor. Not even Hunter was aware of it, allegedly. HBK and The Undertaker surprised the WWE CCO at the WWE headquarters with the announcement.

Stephanie was backstage and later rushed to congratulate Paul as they shared an emotional moment on stage at the company’s town hall meeting. Triple H will now become a two-time WWE Hall of Famer, having previously accepted the honor for his work in D-Generation X.
