On a Monday night in NYC, Vince McMahon stopped by Madison Square Garden, where the New York Knicks took on the Miami Heat. The 79-year-old was labeled as a former wrestling promoter during the live broadcast. As seen below, the erstwhile WWE Chairman sported an all-green look on the account of St. Patrick’s Day.

It’s the second time McMahon has made it to the public eye this year. Last month, the notorious business magnate made his presence felt at Super Bowl LIX. Vince’s son, Shane McMahon, was also there. The latest wave of Vinnie Mac’s in-person appearances is something that nobody anticipated. It obviously has everything to do with the kind of misery he’s had in recent years.

McMahon previously reached a settlement with the SEC over his failure to justify a couple of transactions he did in 2018 and 2021. Consequently, the US government federal agency ordered a reimbursement worth $1.3 million to WWE. It also slapped Vince with a hefty civil penalty of $400k.

As a result, the three-year-long probe into McMahon’s hush money payouts has concluded. The other lawsuit that’s been going on since January 2024 is the one that Janel Grant filed against McMahon, his close aide John Laurinaitis, and WWE.

Despite continuous rebuttal from Vince’s camp, the plaintiff hasn’t backed down. The attorneys for Grant had submitted an amended complaint on January 31 wherein Brock Lesnar was officially named as one of the defendants. The Beast’s involvement was under suspicion for long.

The netizens were quick to draw conclusions regarding Vince McMahon‘s future after he attended an NBA game on Monday. One user claimed that it could be a sign of him being back in business. Last October, a report from PWInsider spilled the beans on a brand-new entertainment hub company McMahon was slated to launch.

Some peeps took notice of The Genetic Jackhammer’s green attire, with one even joking if he were Irish. McMahon attended the NBA game a few hours after WWE Raw aired on Netflix. One fan quipped that he was probably concerned about Austin Theory, whom Jey Uso squashed on the red brand taping in Brussels.

Also, the erstwhile executive chairman of TKO has dropped the mustache he had maintained for the better part of 2024. There were also a number of disgruntled folks. Vince got called out for the misdeeds he has committed.

While some others concluded that he looks more relaxed than ever now that he’s no longer associated with day-to-day operations in WWE. His ouster paved the way for McMahon’s son-in-law, Triple H, to take over as the head of creative on the main roster. Since then, the company has been doing much better.

Which WWE entity recently applauded Vince McMahon?

Veteran WWE play-by-play Michael Cole is one of the very few examples within the wrestling fraternity who haven’t slandered Vince McMahon at all. In fact, during his appearance on Logan Paul‘s IMPAULSIVE podcast, the 58-year-old stressed that he’d never disparage his former boss.

Cole admitted that McMahon’s been crippled with his personal issues, but that doesn’t make Vince mean less to The Voice of WWE. Cole joined the company in 1997 and has since been a staple of its programming.

Having previously worked for CBS Radio, Cole wasn’t that well-versed with pro wrestling at the time. However, once he came under the tutelage of Vinnie Mac, the latter honed him as the permanent replacement of Jim Ross. Cole praised the ex-WWE CEO for being patient with himself, as Cole wasn’t a made man when he first joined WWE.
