The latest episode of AEW Dynamite came to a shocking conclusion. The recently returned Jack Perry attacked president Tony Khan along with The Young Bucks and Kazuchika Oakada. The 26-year-old star took revenge on his boss, who suspended him for almost 8 months.
When Tony Khan and Jack Perry met in the ring, the latter’s attitude towards the former was apologetic. At first, the former FTW Champion extended his hand and pleaded with Khan to put aside their differences and make AEW ‘great’ again. Although he did hug him, he passed on an evil smirk over his shoulder at the camera. Seconds later, Perry brutally attacked him with a microphone and floored him.
The Young Bucks and Okada did come out to bring the situation under control. However, they fooled the audience once again and attacked the boss with the ‘Tony Khan Driver’ to close the show. Perry successfully took revenge following the controversial backstage fight that happened during the All In pre-show last year between him and CM Punk. As a result, The Second City Saint was fired from AEW, while the 26-year-old was indefinitely suspended.
After the brutal attack by The Elite, Tony’s father, Shahid Khan also came out to check on his son with a concerned look on his face. Speaking of the new Elite, they have become stronger with Perry’s inclusion, who made his return to the company at Dynasty. Seeing the ruthless version of the Elite grow, it will be interesting to see how Kenny Omega reacts next week when he returns. Omega has been out of action due to diverticulitis.
