Victoria's Secret fashion show saw WNBA star Angel Reese alongside Cardi B and Queen Latifah

WNBA rookie star Angel Reese is having an off-season to remember. Ever since she finished her debut campaign and completed her exit interviews, she has working nonstop to be in the public eye and increase her brand profile.

Those efforts landed her at the prestigious 2024 Victoria’s Secret fashion show held in New York. The WNBA star was seen on the red carpet wearing a red crochet dress along with strappy black heels. She first walked down the red carpet, then posed for pictures alongside celebrity A-listers such as Grammy Award-winning rapper Cardi B.

Reese also met actress and singer Coco Jones on the red carpet and they posed for pictures. Then, when the former LSU star reached the viewing area, she met actress and rapper Queen Latifah.

Carmelo Anthony‘s ex-wife La La Anthony was also at the Victoria’s Secret flagship store in New York to watch the latest product launches. The rookie phenom decided to tag along with her BFF Kysre Gondrezick. The basketball duo sat in the front row as models walked the ramp.

Reese does not seem to want to slow down. From signing with Usher to appearing on a Wild N Out episode and releasing multiple podcast episodes, the young star is working very hard. Building her brand will help her supplement her ridiculously low WNBA income as well as build for the future.

Angel Reese will next play in Unrivaled Basketball

While Angel Reese continues to have a full schedule, the star has not participated in anything basketball-related. She continues to rest her surgically repaired wrist which has to fully heal before she can take to the court. This will delay the work she will want to put in to improve her game before she approaches her second WNBA season.

Reese is also scheduled to play in the new Unrivaled Basketball 3×3 tournament. With the series scheduled to start at the end of January, it gives her ample time to get back to full fitness.

Not only can she complete her rehabilitation, but she can also start working on her game a few weeks before the tournament. If it all works out, she should start to see improvements while playing in the Unrivaled Basketball tournament.

After that, the WNBA rebounding phenom will again have at least two months to rest before the Chicago Sky’s official training camp starts. With that much in front of her, now she is making the most of her time off from the game.
