‘Joshua has more tools to beat him’ – WBC and IBF heavyweight champion Filip Hrgovic gives his prediction for Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, Filip Hrgovic and Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury announcement is imminent. The fight is expected to take place in Saudi Arabia in a couple of months. The fight will be a title unification bout for the undisputed championship, the first time since Lennox Lewis held it between 1999 to 2000.
WBC and IBF heavyweight champion Filip Hrgović weighed-in on the upcoming heavyweight bout. He claimed that he has been eagerly waiting to witness the super-clash. But the Croatian revealed that he was leaning towards Anthony Joshua in this fight. He supported his claim saying AJ was the bigger puncher, and throws more combos.
‘He is better at inside-fighting‘ – Filip Hrgovic
Speaking in an interview with SkySports, Hrgović said, “It will be a huge fight. I can’t wait, like a fan, to see that. I hope they make an agreement soon. A lot of people are writing off Joshua and are giving Fury the advantage because of their last performances. [They say] Joshua has slowed down.” [via SkySports]
He then supported his claim, saying, “But in my opinion, Joshua has more tools to beat him. He is the bigger puncher, he throws more combinations, he is good with the jab and fast with his feet, he is better at inside-fighting. Fury has his awkward style but that’s all he has. Joshua is the more complete fighter. I give a little edge to Joshua.” [via SkySports]
Filip Hrgovic might go on to face Anthony Joshua or Tyson Fury!

Hrgovic is still undefeated in his professional boxing career. He is currently 12-0 as a professional boxer, since making his debut in 2017. By the look of things, if the Croatian manages to keep his momentum going, he might go on to face either Anthony Joshua or Tyson Fury.
He was scheduled to face Michael Hunter of the USA, but the fight was recently called off, and Hrgovic is in search of another opponent.
