(Video) Finn Balor Gets into Dominik Mysterio’s Face as Tensions Continue to Grow in the Judgment Day on Raw
Even though everything worked out eventually, Finn Balor did look livid about a statement made by Dominik Mysterio on Raw.

In this week’s edition of the Judgment Day drama on Raw, Finn Balor and IC Champion Dominik Mysterio once again got into each other’s faces momentarily. The stare-down stemmed from Mysterio mentioning how Balor couldn’t put away AJ Styles when he was entrusted with the onus of doing so a few weeks ago.
The Prince was ready to accompany JD McDonagh to the ring as the latter was slated for a one-on-one encounter against Styles. That’s where Dirty Dom chimed in and offered to render his services to McDonagh and asked Balor to stay back in the clubhouse. Although it looked like the inaugural Universal Champion was upset at Mysterio, Balor eventually agreed.
There are a number of similar precedents to the kind of interaction Balor and Mysterio had on the latest edition of Raw. The fans could sense that Dirty Dom’s constant dismissal of the veteran wrestler might cost him the Intercontinental Championship soon. WWE has announced that Rey Mysterio‘s son will defend his title against Styles at Night of Champions on June 28.

On Raw, The Phenomenal One got the better of McDonagh, even with Mysterio’s ringside shenanigans. After the match was over, Balor, Mysterio, and McDonagh attempted to launch a 3-on-1 assault on Styles, but the latter outwitted the Judgment Day members and escaped with the IC title belt. The Georgia Pitbull ultimately handed it over to Nick Aldis, the subbing-in Raw general manager for Adam Pearce.
Is Finn Balor lost in the shuffle amid the ongoing Judgment Day tantrums?
Every other week the fans raise their displeasure with the way WWE has been treating Finn Balor. He might be getting heavily featured in matches and segments throughout different episodes of Raw, but The Irish Captor hasn’t seen any major success for a long time now. The current-best scenario involving the erstwhile Prince Devitt is him becoming the world tag team champion alongside JD McDonagh.

They beat Erik and Ivar of The War Raiders a few weeks ago with Roxanne Perez‘s help. A title match against The New Day seems all but imminent for the Judgment Day duo. However, it isn’t expected to help Balor’s cause. He’s going to turn 44 this July, and time is running out for the former NJPW star to re-enter the main event picture in WWE.
If the company does pull the trigger on his rumored breakup with the Judgment Day, would that make much difference? Only time will tell. It’s not lost on anyone that Dominik Mysterio pinned the Irishman at WrestleMania 41 to become the Intercontinental Champion. The Prince would want no less than to get his lick back on Dirty Dom.
Finn Balor has no interest in transitioning to Hollywood
Balor is one of the few wrestlers on the current WWE roster who have strictly stuck to performing between those ropes of the squared circle. While many of his peers have Hollywood aspirations, he doesn’t. A fan recently asked the 43-year-old star on X if he ever plans on becoming a Hollywood actor. The former Bullet Club leader said that he has zero interest in it.

Balor’s Judgment Day stablemate Liv Morgan just played a role in Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo. In an unfortunate turn of events, Morgan dislocated her shoulder on this week’s Raw during a singles match with Kairi Sane. The severity of the injury is unknown at this point.

The storyline involving her and Balor’s recruitment of Roxanne Perez had been picking up steam of late. However, with Morgan sidelined for the foreseeable future, WWE will have to make some adjustments. The Prodigy could continue making her moves on Dominik Mysterio while Morgan heals up.
