Finn Balor has never shied away from accepting what he desires. Last year in an interview with Inside the Ropes, the leader of the Balor Club said that facing Taker has been his childhood dream.

“Obviously, the kid Finn Balor wants to face the Undertaker,” Balor said. “And obviously time is running out with Undertaker, obviously who knows when his last match is gonna be or what his last match will be. But with what’s on the line with The Beast, [Brock Lesnar], and how long is he gonna be around, we don’t know. Honestly, I’d take either one.”

But the issue here is that Balor has returned to WWE’s black-and-gold division. Taker under any circumstance won’t wrestle on the developmental brand of WWE. So unless Balor returns to the main roster, the dream is far from coming true.

The Undertaker will be receiving his Final Farewell from WWE at Survivor Series. He will be announcing his official retirement from pro-wrestling at the event that also marks his 30 years in the industry. Numerous former WWE Superstars, who are good friend with Taker are scheduled to appear at the historic event.

Survivor Series airs live on 22nd November 2020.
