“I hate to say it, but I definitely think Jake Paul is going to be on PEDs,” Firas Zahabi thinks Jake Paul will take steroids against Tyron Woodley
Firas Zahabi on Jake Paul vs Woodley
Youtuber turned boxer Jake Paul is going to take on the former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley in a boxing match on 22nd August 2021 in Cleveland Ohio.
Jake has knocked out Ben Askren in his last fight, and he has a lot of hype behind him on this one. Jake has been training incredibly hard but the famous boxing coach Firas Zahabi thinks that won’t be the only thing that would help Jake in this fight.
In an interview with Bloody Elbow, he said, “I hate to say it, but I definitely think Jake is going to be on PEDs. It exists in the world of boxing, just like it exists in MMA. And I don’t think Tyron will be on PEDs. I think Tyron will be totally natural. Does it make a difference? It absolutely does.”
“They’re going to be on all sorts of substances,” Firas Zahabi on Jake Paul and his corner
Every UFC fighter is tested by United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), and Woodley hasn’t been tested positive throughout his career, but there is no such agency regulating drug tests in boxing.
Zahabi thinks Jake would definitely take advantage of this and will use every means necessary to win this fight, he said, “I didn’t want to mention it, but my number one factor — Paul’s corner, they’re going to be on all sorts of substances. I don’t think they test. Maybe the week of the fight, there’s no USADA. I didn’t want to say, but I think that’s a major factor. When I say he’s bigger and stronger and he’s more athletic, I think he’s basically on PEDs.”
