Dana White is well known for his gambling habits. Other than creating a multi-billion dollar fighting business, the UFC CEO spends his leisure time gambling in the best casinos in Las Vegas. It has come to the point where others ask the UFC CEO to save them from gambling debts. 

Dana White has gambled for years now and has a massive experience of it. While he is infamous for his habit, it is important to point out how good he is at gambling. White recently came on the FULL SEND PODCAST, where he shared a rather unique story about his friend. According to White, his rich friend from Florida lost a whopping $3 million in gambling and wanted White to win it back. 

So, I got this doctor friend who's in town…He invented something that he patented. So, he's got some money. So he calls me two days ago…he's like I lost $3 million man, I'm f***** freaking out….I need you’. So, he's like ‘I want you to play for me and win.’

White mentioned that he was ready to play for his friend and try to get the money back. However, there is the risk involved of losing more money during the process. Over the years, White has earned a lot of money through hardcore gambling. But as a result, he has also lost a crazy fortune.

According to Dana White, after 20 years of gambling, he has lost over $6 million. The UFC head honcho has lost a whopping $3 million in one night after he got drunk while gambling. However, all this hasn’t stopped him from his strong interest in pushing his luck.

Dana White reveals his strategy to play in big casinos

Dana White likes to follow the saying, ‘Go big or go home.’ Over the years, he has played in almost all the top casinos in Las Vegas. He has created a name for himself and has almost bankrupted hotels with his winnings. Many casinos have banned him from playing because of this.

Many big casinos manipulate their customers with a variety of tricks. These casinos make sure that the house always wins. However, Dana White is far more experienced in not getting scammed by their tricks. In a recent interview, White revealed the strategy of playing under his own terms. 

What I was saying is what most of the casinos do. They fly you in, they put you up in a hotel and then they make you play for a certain amount of hours. Yeah, f**** that. I will go buy my own room. I will pay you for my own dinner and I will walk out when I wanted to.

White’s obsession with gambling has also affected his life. It impacted his sleep cycle and overall health. As a 56-year-old, White likes to take care of his health. Recently, he has talked about temporarily quitting gambling to get fit. Nevertheless, White is currently focused on hosting the UFC 305 this week in Perth, which is expected to become a huge PPV event.
