Floyd Mayweather’s boxing career and lavish lifestyle are not unknown to anyone. Even after retirement, his lifestyle of grandeur and materialism has not stopped. According to some recent reports, he eyes for another big payout. However, this is not from boxing. The boxing legend recently listed his Beverly Hills mansion for sale.

Ahead of his retirement from boxing, ‘Money May’ has made a fortune from his career. After retirement, Floyd Mayweather currently invests in living a plush and luxurious lifestyle. In the year of his retirement, Mayweather purchased a six-bedroom mega-mansion for $25.5 million in Los Angeles. Recently, it has been revealed that the house was listed this week with an asking price of $48 million.

The French Modern-style house has a stunning six bedrooms. Moreover, it spans a total of 15,096 square feet on a half-acre plot. It boasts a whole host of luxury accessories including a guesthouse with a 20-seat cinema room, multiple huge living areas, and much more. It was built in 1992 and also has huge outdoor space, with Mayweather’s supercars regularly spotted outside the residence. This exquisite lifestyle is a result of his extravagant boxing career.

Mayweather has a track record of providing historic PPV events. Interestingly, he pocketed purses well above $100 million when beating Manny Pacquiao and Conor McGregor. Moreover, these two bouts are the highest-selling pay-per-view fights in history. The veteran has regularly flexed wads of cash and posed in front of his own custom-private jet, showing fans a glimpse into his lifestyle on social media. With that being said, it remains to be seen if he would opt for a professional boxing bout again.

Even though Mayweather retired from his professional career, he still fights exhibition bouts. Most recently, Money May fought against John Gotti III. Interestingly, Mayweather often faced several backlash for necessarily dragging his career. However, to counter that, Money May hinted that he would continue to fight exhibition bout.

Meanwhile, Floyd Mayweather’s one of the former opponents, Canelo Alvarez, is still an active boxer. Most recently he defeated undefeated Puerto Rican boxer Edgar Berlanga. Interestingly, during that fight week, an intriguing question was asked to Canelo about a potential rematch with Money May. The Mexican star abruptly replied showing his eagerness for that fight.

Interestingly, the only bout between Mayweather and Alvarez ended up in favor of the American. With that win, he handed the Mexican boxer’s first defeat in his professional boxing career. However, years after, Canelo is still eager to take revenge for that defeat. However, now it remains to be seen will this fight ever be materialized or not.
