Floyd Mayweather calls Conor McGregor, “Con Artist McLoser” and goes off on critics that show double standards

The former professional boxer slams Conor McGregor after the loss against Dustin Poirier. He said, “that bum will never be on my level”. The Irish MMA superstar suffered a second-round defeat to his rival Dustin Poirier on Saturday night. After his defeat, there were a lot of comments on Conor from his former rival, Floyd Mayweather.

A youtube page posted a question asking why Mayweather was criticized for having the same temperament as Conor but the latter was celebrated for the same attitude. Floyd shared this post on instagram and captioned it: “I seen this post and my take on it is that the world knows Con Artist McLoser (McGregor) can steal everything from me and be loved but I’m hated. That just lets you all know that racism still exist. Just know, that bum will never be me or be on my level.

I’m just built different, my mindset is on another planet, my skills are second to none, I’m a natural born winner and yes I talk a lot of trash, but every time I back it up. This is what they hate. It’s sad that you can be a poor black kid from the ghetto that has dealt with racism your whole life and work extremely hard to put yourself and your family in a better position, and most of the hate comes from my own people.

Double standards and Racism, still prevalent in the sport of boxing?

Floyd and Conor have previously met on the big stage and the Irishman was criticized for using alleged racist remarks on the American boxer. Conor was caught using the phrase, “Dance for me boy” and branded Mayweather, “monkey”.

A lot of the fans found it racist and offensive about what Conor had to say but he faced no charges or consequences after that which makes people ask the question if his “white privilege” let him get away with that.
