Floyd Mayweather is one of the biggest names in the history of boxing. Years after his retirement, the former multi-division champion is still making millions via exhibition bouts. Mayweather has always been obsessed with numbers, and doesn’t shy away from comparing himself to the likes of Jake Paul

Jake Paul recently fought the legendary Mike Tyson in a much-anticipated bout. The YouTuber turned boxer won the fight via unanimous decision and the fight was seen live by 60 million households. In a recent interview, Mayweather was asked about the fight and the veteran gave a slick answer.

When you watch boxing for free you can have hundreds of millions of views. But when you watching Floyd Mayweather, you have to pay. I did pay-per-view numbers.

Mayweather also mentioned that even at the age of 48 years old, he will beat Jake Paul in a boxing bout. The undefeated athlete also took a shot at Jake’s elder brother, given he fought WWE star Logan Paul in the past. Nevertheless, talking about pay-per-view numbers in boxing, nobody comes closer to Floyd Mayweather.

Mayweather also fought and defeated top champions from different eras, shutting down his doubters. He also has a great mind for business and has created a massive empire for himself. In an interview, the boxer confidently called himself the best ever.

I like to say, I’m the best ever. It’s not being cocky or arrogant. The proof is in the pudding. I think I have earned the right to call myself TBE. I have lived up to the name TBE by going out there day in and day out when I was active.

However, among the masses, Mayweather is not as respected due to his fighting style, behavior, and ‘Money’ personality. Many experts have accused him of cherry-picking opponents and padding his undefeated record. Nevertheless, the debate around his name still continues.
