Thiago Alcantara offers his mansion to Sadio Mane if he decides to play for Bayern Munich next season: Reports

Sadio Mane and Thiago

Sadio Mane has allegedly been offered Thiago Alcantara’s home in Munich prior to a probable transfer to Bayern Munich. After their original £25 million deal was rejected by Liverpool, the Germans are contemplating a second offer for the winger. Mane is said to want to quit the club and has refused to negotiate a new contract at Anfield, which expires next summer.

Mane made a sensation over the weekend when he appeared to hint that he would follow the wishes of his country when it came to his future, with the majority reportedly preferring him to join a new club. “I respect the fans and team but 60 to 70 percent of Senegalese want me to leave Liverpool? I’ll do what they want.”, he remarked.

Is Sadio Mane close to joining Bayern Munich?

Sadio Mane for Liverpool

According to the Daily Mail, Thiago, who played for Bayern Munich from 2013 to 2020 before joining Liverpool, has offered Mane the use of his Munich villa if a trade happens. According to the report, the Spaniard has indeed discussed a possible deal with his buddy.

Following Mane’s contentious comments while on international duty, a reporter put the Liverpool winger on the spot once more, asking: “So, Sadio – Bayern, Real Madrid, or Barcelona?” after his hat-trick in Senegal’s 3-1 win over Benin on Saturday, in which he became the country’s all-time leading scorer.

“You know you got me in trouble,” Mane answered with a smile, “you got me in trouble with the Liverpool fans right now.” “But, as you may know, I am not a fan of any of these teams. Marseille is my club. Marseille is where I’d rather be.”

Mane has now tried to explain his position, saying, “I talked yesterday while kidding about with a bit of humor and it was all over the place.” I believe we’ll come to an end there. Liverpool is a team that I admire much. Since the beginning, the fans have adopted me. We’ll see what happens in the future.”

Jose Enrique, a former Liverpool defender, has criticized Mane’s remarks and urged the forward to be open with the club and the supporters about his future plans.
