In a recent interview with the Evening Standard, Cedric Soares showered high praise on Arsenal star Gabriel Martinelli, comparing him to Cristiano Ronaldo. Calling him a “talented” guy who “likes to score goals”, Cedric claimed that Martinelli loves to attack just like the Portuguese goal-scoring machine, Ronaldo.
“Gabi [Gabriel Martinelli] has this aim for the goal. He likes to attack the space, like Cristiano Ronaldo. He likes to score goals as everyone does,” said Cedric.
“He is an easy young kid to talk with. You talk and you can see he listens to you. He’s talented, but the way he works is fantastic,” added the Portuguese star.

Gabriel Martinelli is a 20-year old Brazilian Footballer who signed for Arsenal in the 2019-20 season from the club’s youth division. He made his debut for the Gunners against Newcastle United in August 2019. He came on as a substitute for Mkhitaryan. He was called by Brazil’s coach, Tite, and has also appeared in two international matches for Brazil.
Since his time at Arsenal, Gabriel has scored 10 goals in 47 appearances for the Gunners. He didn’t get much playing time but he has the potential to become a good striker. He also became the first player to score four goals in his first more starts. Jurgen Klopp praised him and named him “the talent of the Century.”
