The Fenerbahce rising star Arda Guler has caught the attention of managers all over Europe in this summer transfer speculation. The 18-year-old is a Turkish-based professional footballer playing in the attacking midfield position, who on Wednesday, finally signed a deal with Real Madrid. Thus, it is not at all surprising that once, another fellow league player and Los Blancos legend also lauded him for his inch-perfect skills and talent.

In an old interview with Mesut Ozil, the former Arsenal, and Real Madrid world-class player praised Guler’s talent as a baller and compares him to the likes of Lionel Messi, referring to him as the “Turkish Messi.” Ozil and Guler played together at Fenerbahce from January 2021 to July 2022. Ozil believes that Guler will earn a place in the Hall of Fame in the future of world football. Guler has scored six goals in 35 appearances for Fenerbahce.
