Brendan Rodgers says he’s aware of the pressure on him following the bad results

Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers does not hesitate to accept that he is under pressure following a series of bad results. In his latest interview, Rodgers said that he is experienced enough to know how the pressure piles on managers with defeats.
Brendan Rodgers said, “I haven’t seen anything. I am experienced and I know if you win games it’s great, and when you lose you’re open to criticism. I’m sure that will have been the case. You’re always under pressure if you don’t get results. Results like the one at the weekend will always put you under pressure, I understand that.”
Leicester City are at tenth in the Premier League table and have been knocked out of the FA Cup after an embarrassing defeat to Nottingham Forest. Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers expressed his disappointment at his players, branding them ‘embarrassing’ and lacking hunger.
Brendan Rodgers says the he has the backing of the club

In the press conference, Brendan Rodgers was questioned about the backing of the club. He said, “I always have. I have a close working relationship with everyone, but I also understand you have to get results. Those relationships don’t change. This season has been a challenge. The weekend’s result wasn’t great and not what we would want.”
Brendan Rodgers further talked about the club’s goals in this season and whether he aims to attain the top 4. He said that Leicester City need to finish as high as they can.
“We are still in a cup competition and we need to go as far as we can in that. I hope to get players and get players playing consistently.”
Brendan Rodgers also addressed the issue surrounding the recent video that was seen making rounds on social media, where some Leicester City players could be seen partying.
He said, “I wasn’t aware of it myself and I’ve spoken to the guys. I don’t think it was the most sensible thing to put something out.
“But I’m assured it wasn’t at the weekend. It happened a number of weeks back on a Saturday when they had no game. They have been categoric with that and I trust them.”
Leicester City are up against Premier League contenders Liverpool in a very crucial game for both teams.
