All Juventus fans can finally breathe a heavy sigh of relief as Cristiano Ronaldo finally ended all rumours of leaving the club this summer. Speculations were rife in the media that Ronaldo would leave Italy and move to the Premier League after having a poor season with Juventus last year.
However, all those rumours were squashed when the Portuguese star finally landed in Turin to train with the club for the coming season. Ronaldo is coming off an extended holiday with his family following his season ended with Portugal at this year’s EURO 2020 defeat in the Round of 16.

Ronaldo will enter into his final year of contract with the Italian giants, and he was touted by many to make a move to his former club Manchester United. However, Juventus had always maintained the fact that Cristiano Ronaldo was their player and would stay at the club for the coming season.
“Ronaldo has been called up for July 26, he’ll be back on Monday and will stay with us,” Pavel Nedved, one of Juventus’ board members said after they opened their latest pre-season schedule with a 3-1 win against Cesena on Saturday.
A video emerged on Sunday which showed Ronaldo touch down back in Turin on Sunday in a private plane.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner is now set to undergo medical examinations at Juventus on Monday before being cleared to link up with the rest of the squad as preparations for the 2021-22 campaign continue.
