2. Lionel Messi (2011/2012/2013)
Lionel Messi has had numerous brilliant individual seasons where he has broken records for fun. It is tough to narrow it down to just 3 consecutive seasons where his numbers are nothing short of brilliant. However, if we take into account the best goal-scoring years of his career, then 2011, 2012 and 2013 are the best ones to choose.
Messi scored 59 goals in just 70 appearances and provided 36 assists on top of that in 2011. An unbelievable 106 goal contribution in all competitions was just the start of witnessing greatness.
