Football fans could soon witness a Premier League all-star XI v LaLiga all-star XI contest: Reports

Premier League vs LaLiga

As reports say; the Premier League is considering the introduction of an all-star game which may include teams from LaLiga, Serie A, and Bundesliga. EPL’s best players across all the clubs will come together in a single team and will be working together for a common goal and purpose.

One of the main protagonists of this idea was Chelsea’s new owner Todd Boehly, who recently came to the media and suggested starting a North vs South All-star game made up of EPL players. This new idea had quickly gone viral among football fans and they were excited to see their favorite players playing together.

The American owner Todd Boehly made his point by getting inspired by America’s MLB all-star games and the enormous funds they were raising through the same. This idea had got criticism as well. A former Liverpool player called the statement incredibly arrogant and also questioned Boehly’s inexperience in English football and condemned him for the idea.

Boehly said, “Ultimately I hope the Premier League takes a little bit of a lesson from American sports, People are talking about more money for the pyramid, in the MLB All-Star game this year we made 200m dollars from a Monday and a Tuesday. So we’re thinking we could do a North versus South All-Star game for the Premier League, for whatever the pyramid needed quite easily.”
