5. 2014 Brazil World Cup scam

The footballer was killed in the incident in 1994 since his own goal had caused the squad to be eliminated from the World Cup that year. There was speculation that some drug dealers might be responsible for the murder. It was an extremely terrible accident that led to the incident.

The third instance on the list involved the Israel National Team, who had hired prostitutes for entertainment after suffering an 8-0 loss. This occurred during their 8-0 loss to Denmark in the first round of the European playoffs. Due to the squad members’ actions, their head coach Shlomo Schraf also resigned from his position.
The team members had also invited call girls before the match of the return leg in Copenhagen. The manager of the team Shlomo Schraf was very disappointed and shocked to discover such nasty news and attitude from the players. The hurt would have been very heavy that he decided to resign.
2. French Football Racism Scandal
The highly contentious French Football racial scandal is next on the list. The event took place when Laurent Blanc was the manager of the France National Football team and he made racial remarks about the players, claiming that Black people were creating competent players rather than French people. Later, he also expressed regret over the same.
His position as a football manager in the France National Football team had also a strong doubt since such comments were made by him. The word ‘Blacks’ were not directly used but he caught on to some reference words which eventually intended to give the meaning that he meant the Black people.

According to rumors, the two teams knew that United had to win and that the victory was predetermined.
