The most successful football team in the history of the FIFA World Cup is the highly acclaimed German National Football Team, which has won the tournament four times. Germany has won more games than Italy, despite Italy’s four Cup victories and sharing the position with Germany.

In terms of wins, Germany is ranked higher than Italy since, according to statistics, it has 67 wins from 109 games and 20 draws, compared to Italy’s 45 wins from 83 games and 21 draws which makes Germany more successful.
