Florentino Perez labels Cristiano Ronaldo as 'Idiot, Sick' in his new Leaked Audio
Only the day after Real Madrid club president Florentino Perez’s audio of attacking club legends Iker Casillas and Raul Gonzalez went viral, a brand new audio of him making a joke of former player and club icon Cristiano Ronaldo and former manager Jose Mourinho has been leaked, fuelling a new controversy.
In the new audio which was leaked to the media, Perez supposedly has tagged Ronaldo as “an idiot” and a “sick man” and further stated that former manager, Jose Mourinho, has a “terrible ego”. This audio is relatively newer, of a conversation from 2012, while the audio of Casillas and Raul was from 2006. Both the audios were revealed by El Confidencial.

Cristiano Ronaldo had joined Real Madrid from Manchester United for a then record transfer fee of £80 million in 2009, led them to four Champions League titles and became the club’s all time record goalscorer in his nine years with the club. Ronaldo also notched up four Ballon d’Or and two FIFA The Best awards during his stint at Madrid.
However, Florentino Perez didn’t hold himself back while bludgeoning the former star.
“He’s crazy. This guy is an idiot, a sick man. You think this guy is normal, but he’s not normal, otherwise, he wouldn’t do all the things he does”, however Perez was found saying about the former Los Blancos player who joined Juventus in 2018.
“These are guys with a terrible ego, both spoiled, the coach and him, and they don’t see reality,” Perez was found saying in the audio, also slandering Former Real manager Jose Mourinho.
“Mourinho is an idiot. It is not that he does not want to play. Well, he’s a bit abnormal. He drives without a license. That said, he has been overwhelmed by the pressure.” Perez further added about Mourinho, who led Real Madrid to the league title in 2012-13, with record points.
“Given the news broadcast in El Confidencial, in which phrases attributed to me are reported, I think it is necessary to clarify. The reproduced phrases are pronounced in conversations clandestinely recorded by Mr. Jose Antonio Abellan, who has been trying to sell them for many years without success.” Perez issued a statement about his previously leaked audio branding Casillas and Raul as frauds.
“They are single phrases of conversations taken from the broad context in which they occur. For them to be reproduced now, after so many years have passed since those conversations took place, is I understand due to my participation as one of the promoters of the Super League.” Perez added about his leaked audio and that he would take required action about the same.
