Harry Kane has not been having a good Premier League according to his standards. The 29 year old has scored just 2 Premier League goals this season and has not been confident at all on the pitch. The England international is feeling a little off the pace since the season has started.

However, since the arrival of Antonio Conte at Tottenham Hotspur midway through the season, Harry Kane has surely grown more into the team and has found some of his goal-scoring touch back again. The 29 year old scored in the last Premier League game that Spurs played.

Antonio Conte was asked about Harry Kane in his recent press conference ahead of their Boxing Day fixture. The Italian manager was asked about Harry Kane’s situation at the club after his failed transfer to Manchester City in the summer.

The reporter asked,” Was it a happy Harry Kane you found when you first arrived at Tottenham Hotspur?” After hearing the question, Conte answered,” Harry assured me great availability and assured me that he was involved totally in the Tottenham project. I see him every day and I see that he is happy.”

Conte also added,” Kane leads the training ground, the dressing room and he leads the training session in a fantastic way. I am happy with what I am seeing every day.”

This statement by Antonio Conte has brought back some belief among the Tottenham Hotspur fans amid rumours that Harry Kane is not happy at the club and wants to leave in the coming transfer window. The 29 year old was on the verge of joining Manchester City last summer but the deal collapsed after Spurs CEO Daniel Levy rejected Manchester City’s huge transfer bid.

The Spurs fans will hope Kane will find his feet again this season and sign a new contract that will keep him at the club for a long time. The England International is a modern day Spurs legend and a fan favourite. But after his transfer request in the summer, the fans have had some concerns over Kane’s loyalty towards the club.
