The reds now trail leaders Manchester City by 6 points as a result of the loss. Jurgen Klopp’s side had ample of chances to wrap up the game. Leicester City vs Liverpool highlights

Liverpool began on the front foot with fullbacks pushing high and wide. And the pressure paid off as Mohamed Salah was brought down by Wilfred Ndidi who was playing out of position as a centre-back. But Kasper Schmeichel came up big for his team and saved the spot kick, the Egyptian failed to also head in the rebound in the open net. If Salah would’ve converted from the spot it would’ve been his 150th Premier League goal.

The missed chances came back to haunt Liverpool as substitute Ademola Lookman made an instant impact scoring five minutes after coming on with a deft finish beating Allisson at his near post. Sadio Mane, Diogo Jota all missed chances in the second to equalise and more so win the game.
