Karim Benzema’s house broken in and robbed during Real Madrid and Elche clash on Sunday night
Karim Benzema has been in sensational form this season as he continues to add goals to his tally, helping the Los Blancos to stay at the top in the Spanish league.
The French maestro however underwent an injury in his last game against Elche as he was found leaving the field early on in the second half, holding his hamstring.
In addition to Benzema’s injury, there has a report from the Spanish news outlet 20 minutos that say that the Frenchmen’s house in Madrid has been broken in and robbed during their match with Elche on Sunday night.
However, this is not the first time the Frenchmen have undergone house break-ins and robbery. There have been no reports yet on the record of what has been missing from his home after the robbery.
Karim Benzema misses his first-ever Penalty for Real Madrid
The Frenchman had one of the worst possible days in this year as he also missed his first penalty for Real Madrid ever which could have been the clincher for the Los Blancos as the match ended in a 2-2 draw after Eder Militao scored the equalizer at the death minute.
Benzema’s hamstring injury looks to be somewhat of a major issue even thought the player is expected to make a healthy return within two weeks.
