Talking to the sports outlet, Sport Bild, Mario Kempes said that the forward feels comfortable with Catalans. Also, he states the financial considerations of the Spanish outfit that has not helped the club to build a strong team. He feels extremely comfortable in Barcelona. But he realises that the chances of winning the Champions League again with Barca are slim.  Recently, Barcelona were always prematurely eliminated due to the financial situation, the club is having great difficulty building a new top team.He would have to go to Pep Guardiola, Paris Saint-Germain or FC Bayern. These clubs either have the money or the players for great success.

On the other hand, only Paris St Germain and Manchester City can afford Lionel Messi’s wages. The player receives an absurd sum of  €138 million per year at Barcelona. Bayern Munich never overspend for any player, keeping their net spend low and wage structure intact. Barcelona find themselves in a precarious financial position because of the poor transfer decisions in the past. The club went berserk and broke the bank to sign the likes of Phil Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele in the past. The players have failed to live-up the hype since their arrival at Camp Nou.

The summer transfer window of 2021 will be exciting as Cristiano Ronaldo is also touted with a move away from Juventus. Will both the giants meet in England? Only time can tell.
