He’s won five titles, three EFL Cup trophies, two FA Cup trophies, and the Champions League. But recently he’s come into the news for the wrong reasons.
A few days ago Walker’s wife, Annie Kilmer, announced she was taking a break from her husband. The couple married in 2022, after 12 years together. Rumors spread that he had cheated on Kilmer with model and influencer, Lauryn Goodman. The English international confirmed the rumors, adding that he was responsible for making “idiotic choices” and “idiot decisions”. He was asked to move out of their family house and now lives alone.
This isn’t the first time Kyle Walker has been caught in a scandal. In 2019 he cheated on Kilmer after a one-night stand with Laura Brown. In 2020 he was in the news as he broke the lockdown rules and invited sex workers to his house. He then exposed himself in a bar in Manchester in 2023.
Despite all these disciplinary issues, Man City have backed him. Pep Guardiola even confirmed that Walker will continue as the captain of the side and refused to comment more.
