La Liga denounces racist abuse from Barcelona fans aimed towards Vinicius during El Clasico

Real Madrid came out with a 2-1 victory against FC Barcelona in this season’s first El Clasico last week. However, Barcelona would be more disappointed with what happened off the pitch, more than their loss.

The Camp Nou fans disappointed with their behaviour as they directed racist abuse towards Real Madrid’s young forward Vinicius junior. The Brazilian winger was booed off every time he touched the ball and also endured abuse from sections of the Camp Nou crowd while he was going off the pitch towards the fag end of the match.

There was video footage of the abuse from the broadcasters as well which helped La Liga track down the incident, as the Barcelona fans continued with their “monkey” chants on the young Brazilian forward.
