PSG held onto a point as they played a 0-0 draw against Marseille in their last game. Kylian Mbappe had decent chances in the first half but the forward was unable to make the most of it. However early in the second half Pochettino’s side were down 10 men after Achraf Hakimi was sent off by VAR as a result of denying Marseille’s Cengiz Under a clear goalscoring opportunity.

Marseille failed to take the man advantage for the remainder of the half and the two sides settled for a point apiece in the end. Despite having just one win in their last three games PSG are still seven points at the top with 28 points in 11 games so far.

Lille were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Brest. Canadian forward Jonathan David opened the scoring for his side in the 19th minute scoring an easy tap in. It was Jonathan David’s seventh league goal of the season. Romain Faivre levelled matters just after the half hour mark scoring a wonderful freekick. Second half was as tight as the first, however neither side were able to find a winner and the match ended in a 1-1 draw. Lille are 10th in the league with 15 points registered so far.

PSG forwards have not been firing on all cylinders so far this season however the fans have seen shades of it in the Champions League this season. Pochettino’s side however have been solid defensively so far this season, it is the attack which needs to be fixed. Lille have had a fixed bag season so far and have struggled for form in the recent games. However PSG are more than capable of getting the job done against Lille hence we predict a win for PSG in this game.
