The World has been eagerly waiting for this year’s Ballon D’or as each and every man, woman and children speculate on who will be getting the Prestigious award in the 65th edition of the Ceremony.
Ballon D’or France Football 2021: Lionel Messi
The Moment of truth has arrived and the winner for the 2021 Ballon D’or is Lionel Andres Messi. Messi has now successfully secured his Seventh Ballon D’or in the 65th edition of the most Prestigious Ceremony.
Lionel Messi has always been the deserving candidates after his exceptional display of the world renowned Messi Magic last season. The Argentine scored an enormous amount of 36 goals in just 30 matches and secured his 8th Pichichi in La Liga.
Lionel Messi also won the Copa del Rey where he scored the winning goals for FC Barcelona in the last quarter of the game, the only title for the Catalan club in 2020/21 season. But the most important of all was his first major international trophy Copa America as he successfully delivered Argentina a trophy after 28 years. He also became the highest scorer in the competition with 4 goals and 5 assists, and became the best player in the competition.

Kopa Trophy 2021
The Kopa Trophy was won by none other than Spain’s Starboy Pedri after the teenager displayed an excellent skillset on the pitch not only for FC Barcelona but also for the Spanish National team.
Pedri was also awarded the Golden Boy award just a week ago after he played a major role in the midfield area as he helped Spain to the finals of 2020 Tokyo Olympic and also to the finals of the Nations League. He was also the youngest player ever to play in the Knockouts of Euro and had 92% pass success rate in the competition.
Striker of the Year 2021
Robert Lewandowski wins the newest award in Ballon D’or 2021, The Striker of the Year after his exceptional display of performance in the last couple of seasons. He helped Bayern to win the Bundesliga, DFB Cup, Champions League, DFL Super Cup and Super Cup in 2020.
Robert Lewandowski scored a mammoth amount of 41 goals in 29 games last season in Bundesliga breaking the long 49 year old record of Gerd Muller to write a new chapter in the history of German league.
Ballon D’or France Football Feminin 2021
Alexia Putellas has won her first Ballon D’or after his exceptional performance for the treble winning season in FC Barcelona which include the Spanish League, Spanish Cup and Champions League. Putellas’ stat was just exceptional as she had 38 goals and 27 assists in the Calendar year as she led FC Barcelona from the front wearing the Captain’s armband, from the frontline.
Yachine Trophy
Gianluigi Donnaruma, the 22 year old keeper proved to be an exceptional part of the Italian National Team where he played a vital role in delivering Italy the Euro 2020. He saved two penalties for Italy in the Semis as well as in the Finals and delivered the dream end to the Azzuris in the Euro 2020.
Club of The Year 2021
The English Football Club, Chelsea FC now becomes the winner of first ever Club of The Year trophy in Ballon D’or 2021 after their electric performance in the 2020/21 season. Chelsea under the management of Thomas Tuchel secured their second UEFA Champions League. The German manager created havoc with his arrival and delivered performance in his debut season. They have also won the UEFA Super Cup this season.
Chelsea has continued their form in both Premier League and the European stage this year as they currently sit at the top of the table in the Premier League and have also secured a place for themselves in the Round of 16 of the Champions League.
