Manchester City started the game with high intensity and kept asking questions. However, Everton stood upto the task and did not concede till the 40th minute. In between, there was a penalty call which was chalked off by VAR. However, Raheem Sterling found a way to score the goal before the half time. 

Manchester City started the game on a great tempo in the search of the second goal. Rodri scored the stunner against Everton to double the lead whereas Bernardo Silva put the game into bed with the third goal. Both teams gave a glimpse of the Premier League to their youngsters.

Ederson (6.1/10): Barring collecting and catching the balls, Ederson had very less to do in the game against Everton. He was left undisturbed on the turf. 

Joao Cancelo (7/10): The fullback was phenomenal throughout the game. He registered the sixth assist of the season. 

Kyle Walker (6.6/10): The English full-back not only broke the wingplay of Everton but was also able to make daunting runs. 

John Stones (6.5/10): The central defender had very little to do against Everton. He won four aerial headers and had a tackle to his name in the first half. 

Aymeric Laporte (6.1/10): The Spanish central defender returned to the side after missing the derby against Manchester United. The player had little to do against Everton. 

Illkay Gundogan (7/10): The skipper of the Blues was a live wire in the midfield. The silk passes, the dribbles and he also had a shot on target. 

Rodri (7.7/10): The central defender was a key player in the midfield for Manchester City. He broke the play of Everton and distributed the ball perfectly for the attackers. He scored the stunner in the second half to double the lead. 

Bernardo Silva (7.6/10): In the absence of Kevin de Bruyne and Jack Grealish, Bernardo Silva has continued to impress with inch perfect oasses and crosses. The player put the game into the bed when he scored the third goal. 

Phil Foden (6.6/10): The youngster has continued to impress the manager and football fans with his perfect passes and attacking runs. 

Cole Palmer (6.4/10): Not a great game for the youngster but he made runs to open the spaces. The 19-year-old got the game time and start that he needed. 

Raheem Sterling (7.5/10): The forward started the game after being benched in the derby. The player went on to score the first goal of the game. 

Substitutions:

Riyad Mahrez (6.1/0): The player came on in the second half. He kept the opposition full backs at bay with his daunting crosses and runs.

Jordan Pickford (6.5/10): It was a great performance by the English shot-stopper until he let the goal in. His command in the box was exemplar. 

Lucas Digne (6/10): Though the fullback at his best while defending, Digne was unable to put a threatening cross that Richarlison could capitalise on. 

Micheal Keane (6.2/10): The veteran central defender marshalled his defense throughout the game but was unable to stop the opposition’s two beautifully crafted goals. 

Ben Godfrey (6.1/10): Former Norwich City player was unable to put in an impressive display on the pitch. However, he had two tackles to his name that prevented City from going to lead in the early minutes. 

Seamus Coleman (6.4/10): Coleman returned to the line up and was impressive in his defense. However, he was dispossessed twice and it did not help Everton’s cause. 

Anthony Gordon (6.5/10): One of the best players on the pitch, Anthony Gordon was able to put in a few tackles and dribble past the opposition. However, he failed to create any chances for his side. 

Delph (5.7/10): It was an unnerving performance from Delph against Manchester City. The player could not hold on to the ball and neither did he create any chances for his team. 

Fabian Allan (6/10): The Brazilian had a game of mixed bags with two tackles to his name against Man City. 

Demarai Gray (NA): The player was subbed off after he pulled his hamstring in the early minutes of the game. 

Andros Townsend (6.5/10): One of the best players for Everton on the pitch, Andros Townsend was able to play the perfect role as a second striker. However, he could not find the back of the net for his side. 

Richarlison (5.8/10): The Brazilian striker failed to impress the manager in the game against Manchester City. He was booked in the first half for a foul. 

Substitutions:

Alex Iwobi (5.9/10): The player came on early in the game for Gray but failed to create any impact on the game throughout his stay

Solomon Rondon (6/10): The manager brought the player on early in the second half after conceding second. He could not find the back of the net.
