LATEST! Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick is struggling to ease tensions at the club

Ralf Rangnick

Manchester United have been the centre of attention yet again for negative reasons. The Red Devils lost 1-0 to Wolves at home thanks to a late goal from the Wolves midfielder Joao Moutinho in the 82nd minute of the game.

This leaves Manchester United in a vulnerable spot at 7th in the Premier League, 22 points behind their neighbours Manchester City. Things aren’t looking positive at all for the Red Devils as they are nowhere near where they aimed to be before the start of the season.

Ralf Rangnick is under significant pressure right now as his team are clearly lacking belief and the fans are not at all happy with the performances since the German coach has been appointed. Rangnick has had to face media scrutiny at every press conference even though his team have been winning games.

Manchester United’s interim manager Ralf Rangnick is reportedly struggling to keep things under control as there are huge doubts about the expectations from the players this season. The German manager was appointed shortly after ex manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was relieved from his duties after the heavy defeat against Watford.

Rangnick had promised that Manchester United will play fast attacking and pressing game but now after 6 games since the German has been appointed, there are next to no signs of any of the things Rangnick had promised.

The Red Devils have dropped points to relegation threatened Newcastle United and mid table team Wolves in the space of a week. They are out of the Premier League title race already and are not looking likely to secure a top 4 finish in the league either. The Reds are out of the Carabao Cup and are only fighting for the FA Cup and Champions League.

There are multiple reports that senior players in the squad are unhappy with the recent performances and the morale in the squad is the lowest it’s ever been. This is something that no Manchester United fans wants to hear.

Some sources are also saying that a few players wanted current Tottenham Hotspur manager to be appointed as the Red Devils coach soon after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked. This comes in the awakening of the recent loss and that the players have already lost belief in the current manager.

Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick has admitted that he knew he was going to face problems while he was being appointed by the club to be their new interim manager. The German has openly criticized the team’s performances and is said to be unhappy with the way the squad is playing.

On the other hand, there are reports that fringe players in the squad like Donny Van de Beek, Eric Bailly, Jesse Lingard and Dean Henderson are unhappy with the lack of game time and are leaking news to the media about things that are happening behind closed doors.

Donny Van de Beek and Dean Henderson are ready to leave the Red Devils this month if a suitable offer comes in after it was reported they are unhappy at the club. Whereas, Paul Pogba is still the centre of attention as he looks set to leave the club in the summer for a free transfer yet again after failing to reach a new deal with Manchester United.

There are reports that the current squad is unhappy with the coaching technique of Ralf Rangnick and that the players do not like the new coaches that are brought in by the German coach. On the other hand, some sources are saying that players are unhappy with the attention that is brought on Cristiano Ronaldo.
