French midfielder Matteo Guendouzi left Arsenalt his summer, in a loan deal for Ligue 1 club Marseille and has been a revelation at the club. the loan deal signed by the player is reported to have a hidden clause that might make the move permanent next summer and the Gunners fans have started to wonder whether their club made yet another mistake of letting another talented player leave at such a young age.
Guendouzi had one of the best matches of his Marseille career so far against FC Lorient in Ligue 1 this weekend, as he scored 2 goals and provided a great assist to help Marseille make a comeback from being 1-0 down to win 4-1 at the end of full time.

The stunning display caught the eye of many Arsenal fans who have since questioned the decision to let him go for a meager fee this summer.
During his time at the Premier League, Matteo Guendouzi had shown his class under Unai Emery, and he was supposed to be the next midfield maestro at the club for the years to come. However, all of that changed after Mikel Arteta‘s arrival as the duo clashed on numerous occasions and the Spanish manager made it clear to the Frenchman that he was not going to be included in his plans for the coming seasons.
However, Guendouzi has found new life under Jorge Sampaoli at Marseille and has become one of the mainstays for the Ligue 1 side. He has made 11 appearances for the club since joining them this summer, and has already scored 3 goals and provided 2 assists.
