The news of the sacking of Manchester United’s manager, Ole Gunner Solskjaer, finally arrived today. The club’s management board decided to relieve him from all his duties after the Red Devils suffered a shocking 4-1 loss against Watford FC.

Interestingly, Manchester United has won just a single match in their last seven games in the Premier League 2021/22. In such a situation, there has been a long term demand from their fans to sack Ole, with many of them trending #Oleout on Twitter.

The club has made Michael Carrick as the interim manager of the club until and unless they find a new manager. He will be leading the club in their next game against Villarreal on the upcoming Tuesday in the Champions League.

It was a shocking thing when even Former FC Barcelona manager, Luis Enrique’s name came up for the job. Sky Sports even reported that Cristiano Ronaldo wants Enrique to join the club as their new manager.

However, in a recent interview to La Sexta, Enrique said, “Is today April Fools’ Day?” when he was asked about his links with the Red Devils. It was a clear cut indication from the Spaniard that he is happy to manage the Spanish national team at this time and is not panning to make a move to Manchester.
