2022 FIFA World Poland v Saudi Arabia: Preview, Team News, Possible Line Ups, and Prediction

Poland vs Saudi Arabia

On Saturday at noon, Poland will take on a Saudi Arabia team still on a high from their historic World Cup debut. By the end of the group stage, the scoreless draw between Mexico and Poland will do well to remain in people’s memories. The 2-1 defeat of World Cup favorites Argentina by Saudi Arabia will consistently rank among the competition’s biggest shocks.

Robert Lewandowski, who his national team manager Czesław Michniewicz referred to as “extremely emotional,” would find it difficult to move past a game marred by his errant second-half penalty. But with a win this weekend, Poland will have a better start than they did four years ago and could overtake Argentina’s champions.

2022 FIFA World Poland v Saudi Arabia: Team New

Czeslaw Michniewicz traveled to Qatar with a team in excellent physical condition. Poland seemed to have survived their match against Mexico unharmed, despite the disappointment of an opening-day stalemate; nevertheless, center-back Kamil Glik did suffer two head injuries but should be fine to face Saudi Arabia.

A historic encounter was marred by Yasser Al-severe Shahrani’s head injury, which led to the declaration of a national holiday in Saudi Arabia in his honor. On the verge of halftime, Salman Al-Faraj also hobbled off due to a hamstring injury.

In the second half, goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Owais violently collided with a teammate. Al-Shahrani gave a thumbs-up before being taken away on a stretcher, although he reportedly shattered his jaw and left facial bones.
