Why Kylian Mbappe chose to stay with PSG and not move to Real Madrid
Star footballer Kylian Mbappe of the highly acclaimed Ligue 1 team Paris Saint Germain (PSG) has recently been the subject of intense controversy and rumors that are connected to his transfer news from Paris Saint Germain. He later refuted all the reports, claiming he was content with the team and will stick with them.
During this year’s summer transfer window, Mbappe was given the chance to join the highly esteemed Spanish team Real Madrid, but he choose to stay with the French team. Everyone was eager to learn why he chose to stay with PSG, but now those reasons have been made public.
He reportedly made the decision to remain with Paris Saint-Germain for a number of reasons, including the enormous pay of €72 million annually. Additionally, he had been given a bonus of €180 million in three instalments for keeping the deal. He did believe that the agreement was beneficial for his stability and personal life.
Additionally, if he chooses the optional year, he will receive a Scalable loyalty bonus worth €70 million, €80 million, and €90 million, given after each summer window. Real Madrid is unquestionably a squad that supports a player’s improvement in terms of game and tactics. Mbappe decided to believe in his own personal development.

There were numerous speculations that he wanted to join Real Madrid but the Los Blancos were not interested in signing the French professional player in the middle of the transfer window at the time he was rumoured to be leaving the club due to problems with the Paris Saint-Germain management.
With a €180 million permanent transfer to Paris Saint-Germain in 2017, Mbappe became the second-most expensive player and the most expensive teen player. He is the club’s second-highest goal scorer of all time and has won four Ligue 1 championships and three Coupes de France there.
