“A movement”- Stephen Curry responds to Ousmane Dembele’s ‘night night’ celebration after a special performance in pre-season friendly

Ousmane Dembele

Ousmane Dembele has had the perfect night with Barcelona since his contract extension with the Catalans. The Frenchman scored 2 beautiful goals in the space of just 6 minutes to give Barcelona a first-half lead in the game.

Although Juventus managed to equalise and draw the game eventually, Ousmane Dembele showcased to the world what he is really capable of and could become a beast of a player under Xavi. The player’s performances were so good, that they even caught the eye of Stephan Curry, whose celebration was actually emulated by Dembele

Like Ronaldo’s Sui, Stephan Curry has his own kind of celebration. The ‘Night Night’ and Ousmane Dembele did just that in their game against Juventus when he scored his second goal. Responding to that Curry replied, “A Movement!”

Ousmane Dembele could emulate Lionel Messi at Barcelona

No one could ever do what Lionel Messi achieved at Barcelona. However, with Ousmane Dembele, it seems they have the next best thing to replace the Argentine. Dembele’s performances under Xavi have been nothing short of a spectacle.

Last season as well, Dembele has a turnaround as soon as Xavi became in charge of the squad. In just 15 starts last season, the player managed 1 goal and 13 league assists.

Xavi was also extremely influential in convincing Dembele to stay at Barcelona despite becoming a free agent this summer. His new contract runs until June 2023 and Barcelona will hope that a similar transfer saga doesn’t happen again with the player.

Ousmane Dembele is not just good with goals but is a great assister and playmaker as well. The player will only be helped by the arrival of Robert Lewandowski to Camp Nou and hope that he can form a strong partnership with the former Dortmund player.
